Antonio Montalto, the Honorary Consul for Italy in Giumri and head of Spitak Art School/Family Care NGO, has been a personal benefactor of AMAP from its incepion. In fact, he was the first to commit to our program in 2008 and the first to commit funding. His support is especially gratifying since it comes from his own resources, a shining example of commitment to Armenian Heritage on a most personal level.

Under the support and direction of USAID | ARMENIA, the Competitive Armenian Private Sector (CAPS) project supported AMAP with consultants and vital technical support, especially in our first two years.

US Ambassador's Cultural Fund (Sponsor 2009-2010)

Since its creation by the U.S. Congress, the U.S. Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation has provided financial support to more than 640 cultural preservation projects in more than 100 countries. This accomplishment, now 10 years in the making, represents a contribution of nearly $26 million towards the preservation of cultural heritage worldwide. More importantly, it shows the depth of our nation’s respect for the cultural heritage of other countries.

Honorary Consul of Norway in Armenia (Sponsor 2010)

The Honorary Consul of Norway in Armenia sponsored a community development through culture program with the installation of two rest stop pavilions and a sustainable crafts and local products training program. The resultant rest stops generate tourist income at the sites, improving local economic and social development.

The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin is the spiritual and administrative headquarters of the worldwide Armenian Church. The Mother Cathedral, founded by the Descent of Christ, built by St. Gregory the Illuminator and King Trdat III, has stood as a symbol against time of the Armenian faith, nation and people. No other silhouette is so instantly recognized by Armenians the world over.

The Republic of Armenia Ministry of Culture is a republican body of executive authority, which elaborates and implements the policies of the Republic of Armenia Government in the culture sector.

The Republic of Armenia Ministry of Transport and Communication is a republican body of executive authority, which elaborates and implements the policies of the Republic of Armenia Government in the transport, communication, and information technologies sectors.

International Council of Monuments and Sites-Armenia(Partner 2008-present) 

The International Council on Monuments and Sites is an association of professionals that currently brings together approximately 9500 members throughout the world.

The members of ICOMOS contribute to improving the preservation of heritage, the standards and the techniques for each type of cultural heritage property : buildings, historic cities, cultural landscapes and archaeological sites.

Partnership type: In-Kind technical suppot throughout the entire process of choosing sites, creating and editing texts and allied processes.
